Tapper was built for one purpose: effortless music sharing. You’d pick a song, tap your friend’s phone, and—just like that—it would send the track’s streaming link. No long setups, no QR codes, just a tap. Clean, simple, futuristic.


But NFC had other plans. Antennas seemed to be hiding in some manufacturer’s secret bunker—top of the phone, bottom, middle, or sometimes not there at all. What should’ve been a tap turned into a scavenger hunt. Add a transfer time that felt longer than a bad Spotify ad, and the shine wore off fast.
